Cute but Fabric and buttons feel cheap and won’t last
The cut is nice. Very accommodating for a busty gal. The buttons feel like they’re barely holding on and the fabric is like a moleskin lightweight wool. I’ll be replacing the buttons and sewing them on much more securely, but the coat itself is really cute.

Its not for me, but will save for the maybes
I am very texture sensitive, feels like velourish- ewh. The cut and color serves well if you do not have tactile issues. The medium looks very flattering on 5 foot 7 160lbs. It elongates waistlines…creates a waist when the waist is a bit short waisted

I was so bummed!
This coat is genuinely sooo pretty in person! I’m hippy on the bottom and I thought the flare would compliment me but it just made me look big. Definitely size down.

Waist line could be better
Overall very great. But warning: the waist line is very loose and you can NOT adjust it. Other than that, great color and great material, comfy and pretty (except the waist line, unfortunately, which may make you look “fatter” than you actually are)

Super Cute!
I bought this coat for my trip to London and Paris. I wanted something that would be warm enough and still cute! I am 4’11” and it was a little long on me- but that isn’t anything new. It was super cute and I got a lot of compliments on it. My one issue is now that my trip is over, it is really hard to clean the coat. I had to hand scrub the bit of dirt that ended up on it. Not a huge deal, but may be an issue for some. You can machine wash it on cold (not dry), but it just didn’t do it for me.

Love the coat but…
This a stunning design. Everything I hoped for! But… I could not close the coat with the first button. I am a 18/20W with tops and 22W in the hips. I ordered the XXL. I went by the manufacturer size chart and all the measurements said this would fit. It doesn’t not! The coat was not sized up correctly before manufacturing. The pocket openings were at the back of my hip. Not the side where you would expect a pocket to be. Therefore I returned the coat for these reasons.

Flattering for every figure
I love the bright color and flattering shape of this coat! Definitely keeps you warm when it’s cold out. I used this in my winter wedding and it looked great!

Super thick
This is so thick and warm and pretty comfy I probably should’ve gotten a bigger size because the pockets are a little far to the back but it closes fine so I’m not really sure if this is just a design flaw but I can’t really use the pockets with how far back they are

Can this coat be made in size 20-22?
Dislike that coat not in 20-22 size for thick ladies. 2XL is great, but once I have clothes on the coat is a wee bit snug. Can I get this coat in size 20-22?????

Almost perfect
Overall, I love the coat so much that i ordered a second one in camel. The synthetic fabric looks and feels almost like wool, it’s a great weight for cold days, and the cut flatters even a curvy body like mine. I get tons of compliments. But, don’t expect the quality touches from more expensive brands. The buttons do not stay on for long. By the fifth wearing, one came right off. No worries, they send an extra button with the coat, because they know you’re going to need it. I ended up resewing on all 7 buttons, and did it to both coats. I used small buttons on the inside to secure the large buttons (quality coats have this). Again, it’s a beautiful garment. But, you’d better order a sewing kit for those buttons, because the factory is not sewing them on correctly.

Decent quality
You get what you pay for. The shape is very flattering but the outer shell is kinda felt-like..? I’m constantly picking lint & hair off of it. I think I get it all off. Then I’m sitting in the car & I see more & pick it off. Then I get to church or the restaurant & there’s more! Would I get another one in another color? Probably. Considering the price & how it looks, I think it’s worth the trouble of constantly picking stuff off of it…but now you know & have an honest opinion about it.

Beautiful coat, but the buttons do not like up on the last pair of buttons.
Love this coat, it’s very cute and alot of people have complimented me. I’m big and tall, so I got the XXL, it fits her perfectly. I am a little confused by the description on cleaning…. It says “hand wash only” one place then further down in broken English out says, “can dry clean”Well, which one is it. I don’t want to ruin this adorable coat. Also buttons could be sewn on better, but maybe when I take out to a dry cleaner I’ll have them tidy up the buttons also.

Cute and a little classy!
The coat arrived today and it is beautiful. I went by the bust and waist measurements listed with the photos and went for the one that was slightly bigger to account for sweater room, and it fits perfect. Very flattering. It goes near my knees. Looks great with pants. The only reason its not getting 5 stars from me is that I’m going to replace all of the buttons for metal buttons because the buttons that come with it are aweful plastic and have to be sewn on better anyway.

Nic coat but…
The coat itself looks nice. As others have said in their reviews it has a rather large collar and the pleats are not as pronounced as in the picture. We ironed it but I’m taking it to the dry cleaner to see if they can help with that. Also, the buttons are loose and cheap lightweight plastic. I’ll be buying some more substantial replacement buttons.That being said, the color is beautiful! If you don’t mind investing the time, money, and effort this coat can be really cute.

I love this coat!
This is a gorgeous coat. I half expected it to be tight in the shoulders but it wasn’t. It’s not real wool, but it isn’t that cheap polarfleecy fabric either. It has nice weight and shape to it. The coat is nice enough, I will likely replace the buttons with some fancy vintage ones rather than reinforce the somewhat loose buttons on it. I’m 5’8, 240lbs with a big chest. I recommend this coat.

Very nice looking
Very nice looking and fits and flows nicely. Pretty pleats. Buttons are hollow on the back. Was a little worried about buttoning the coat and the thread breaking.

Not My Favorite
I normally love everything I get from Grace Karin, but this coat isn’t as nice or flattering as many pieces I have purchased from GK. First, the coat runs small, and the fabric seems a little on the cheap side. The cut is somehow out of proportion from top to bottom. It did serve its purpose in keeping me warm on vacation even when we were outdoors for an extended period of time with temperatures in the thirties near the Potomac River.

Natural waist coat
I didn’t realize the waist on this coat sits low. I thought it was an empire waist because of the bottom gathers. I have a very pronounced hour glass figure so a low waist makes me look fat. But if you can rock the natural waist look, you will probably live this. My daughter is slender and has narrow hips. If I had ordered a smaller size I would have given this to her because it really is nice in person. The material is thick and it feels like wool but not scratchy wool and the inside is fully lined all the way down the sleeves with a satin type material that feels very luxurious. I have a few Grace Karen coats and I love them. But you will find that, even though the quality is good, their consistency in sizing is not. I would order your normal size but give some time to return and reorder if the one you get has off-sizing. Usually I have found the off-sizing is in the waist not the shoulders though.

Get your measurements!!
I purchased 2 of these coats. One foe each of my daughters. Noth are very small framed. Even though I bought them a Small size, they had a lot of extra room in the waste.I can say that the colors are true to the pictures and the quality was very nice.

Super cute but tight in arms
Really loved it and wanted to keep it. I was honestly surprised that it fit me so well but the arms and shoulders were a bit too tight. Also the top row of buttons were not lined up correctly but that wasn’t a huge deal. I will agree with the other reviewers that the buttons are sewn on loose but I can sew so I wasn’t too concerned about that

BIG!
I love this coat! It’s beautiful and the material is nice, But this coat does run big. I bought a small and I should have bought an extra small.I bought a small because I’m usually a small size. I’m very surprised that it was too big. But because the coat is good quality I plan on getting get tailored.

Cute coat
I love the styling on this coat and it appears to be well made. I haven’t worn it out in the cold yet, so don’t know how warm it is. I spend about an hour with a steamer to get all the wrinkles out and them ironing the pleats with a pressing cloth.

Loose buttons
It’s very cute. Longer than what I’d imagined. Lighter than you think, but good for the fall. The buttons are a little loose but that’s an easy fix. Overall I’m happy with my purchase. I’m 5’3 and got an xl because I’m large in the chest ^^

Not As Expected
This is a beautiful coat and is very well made. I’m sure it would be very warm but not too much. I was disappointed that the sleeves would have to be hemmed (no big deal). The only reason I returned it is the pleats that would give it the nice shape, it seems like they didn’t add enough material to make them where they make good pleats. They would have to be ironed but again, no big deal. I looked at the nice pictures in the customer reviews but it’s hard to tell the issue with the pleats. It’s really too bad because it is very lovely.

Pretty Coat, Very Flared
This coat was pretty (the color was exactly as expected), comfortable, and well made, but I did end up returning it. The coat was great, just not for me. The picture shows the bottom of the coat is going to be flared, but it was just too flared for me once I put it on. I just didn’t think it looked quite as flattering in person as I thought in the photos. Still a great coat though that I recommend for anyone who’s looking for this style.

Super cute and surprisingly warm
I absolutely love how this coat looks, the picture is spot on and the color is gorgeous. I live in Michigan, where the winters can be really cold. This coat, although looking thin, provides a good amount of warmth and does a great job of keeping out cold wind. Also, it has pockets!

Cute Coat
This coat is so cute. I was nervous as a lot of the reviews say it runs small. For me this was not the case. It is fitted but not tight. I purchased my normal size and it does have plenty of room for even a heavy layer beneath it.

Love it!
This is absolutely gorgeous!It is just as expected. The buttons are not really heavy duty, they are very thin – it comes with a spare. The fabric inside and out is very nice to the touch and it’s comfortable to wear. The shoulders are super cute a nice little touch to the overall look.

Absolutely LOVE This Coat
The color of navy is a bit brighter while still being navy. The warmth and the cut of the coat is spot on. I ordered an XL and could have gone with a large but like a bit of room for winter sweaters. The gold buttons are sewed on tight. Highly recommend and will buy another color.

5’7” 165 lbs returned the size large because way too wide in chest, waist, and hips. Could size down to medium maybe even a small.Material is crunchy – looks fine but not very soft to the touch.Nice color and cut.

Great but..
I have some self esteem issues and i wore this and everyone i saw complimented me on how cute it was. I love it a lot but.. I dont really like that it was advertised as form fitting and it just isn’t; it takes away my curves in the waist area. Still cute and love it though.

Purchased for an event but may turn into everyday
My biggest complaint is that the pockets are slightly further back than I’m used to, but that’s so minor. I also planned on getting the medium for use with thick sweaters and winter clothes, and accidentally ordered the small. Thick sweaters are out but it’s still quite comfy. There’s room enough for a long sleeve thin sweater and it’s pretty good at keeping out the wind.

Very nice
It was a little bigger thru the shoulders and waist, but any size smaller would’ve made the arms too short. I will wear it in below zero so I will fill that gap with layers , but if you are not so cold, read the measurements carefully.
